Our clinic hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Any procedures done after 6:00pm or on Saturday or Sunday will have an additional after-hours fee associated.
All animals undergoing surgery will need to be fasted the night before the surgery. These animals should not receive any food after 6:00pm or water after midnight the night before. The drop off time for surgeries is between 7:30 and 9:00 am and pick up for routine surgeries is between 4:00 and 5:45 pm.
URGENT CARE OPTIONS
Occasionally pets will require emergency care in which they must be seen before the next available appointment. We do our very best to accommodate these situations. If your pet requires urgent care, you can leave them with us for the day and one of our veterinarians will examine them as soon as possible and call you with a treatment plan. There is fee for hospitalization of urgent care patients.
It is our policy that all animals requiring medical treatment must be examined by a veterinarian. This is also true for the prescribing of any medications. This is in accordance with standard veterinary practice requiring a veterinarian-client-animal relationship to exist.
Any prescriptions for ongoing medications will require an annual examination. An examination may be required more frequently if new medical issues arise. Some medication will require scheduled blood-work to ensure no complications arise due to the use of the medication.
There will be a missed appointment charge applied to an account if an appointment is missed.
Owner Presence During Procedures
It is our policy for safety, hygiene, and liability reasons that owners may not be present during procedures such as radiology (X-rays), surgery, or medical treatments.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Debit Card, and Cash for payment of services. We do not accept cheques. Payment is due at time of service.
Our clinic has a zero tolerance policy for offensive, rude or obnoxious behavior towards any of our medical team. Any persons exhibiting such behavior will be escorted out of our clinic.
Please call ahead with 24 hours notice for any medication refills. During many parts of our busy day we will simply not have the staff available to fill a medication on a walk-in basis.
