Specialist Referrals
The field of veterinary medicine is expanding at a dramatic rate in its breadth of medical knowledge and technology. Along with this expansion, the number and type of specialists and specialist centres have increased to meet the medical challenges of our pet companions. When we are faced with complex medical needs for our pets it may become necessary to enlist the help of a veterinary specialist dedicated to their field of study and fluent in the very latest medical knowledge and technology. At Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre we have a very good working relationship with many specialists and have the ability to consult on or refer cases when it becomes necessary. We can accomplish this via phone, internet (consultation with a specialist network to which our clinic belongs or via the e-mailing of radiographs), or direct referral of patients.
