CLINIC POLICIES

Pharmaceuticals

It is our policy that all animals requiring medical treatment must be examined by a veterinarian. This is also true for the prescribing of any medications. This is in accordance with standard veterinary practice requiring a veterinarian-client-animal relationship to exist.

Please call ahead with 24 hours notice for any medication refills. During many parts of our busy day we will simply not have the staff available to fill a medication on a walk-in basis.

Any prescriptions for ongoing medications will require an annual examination. An examination may be required more frequently if new medical issues arise. Some medication will require scheduled blood-work to ensure no complications arise due to the use of the medication.

Missed Appointments

There will be a missed appointment charge applied to an account if an appointment is missed. The same charge will be applied if an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

Payment

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Debit Card, and Cash for payment of services. We do not accept cheques. Payment is due at the time of service. Clients interested in financing options for their veterinary bill can apply for financing through Petcard.

Disruptive Behavior

Our clinic has a zero tolerance policy for offensive, rude or obnoxious behavior towards any of our medical team. Any persons exhibiting such behavior will be escorted out of our clinic.
