What To Expect

Urgent Care

If your pet has developed an urgent medical problem, they can come in for an urgent care appointment. This is a drop-off only service where your pet will be triaged, admitted into our hospital, and one of the veterinarians will call you as soon as they have had a chance to assess your pet. Urgent cares arriving later in the day may go into after hours and incur additional charges if they need to be seen after hours.

Surgery and Dentistry

We ask that surgery and dentistry patients be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:00 am the morning of their procedure. Unless otherwise instructed by your veterinarian, we request that food and water be withheld from your pet at bedtime the night before. Please give any medications prescribed by your veterinarian. We will call or text you with an update once your pet has recovered from anesthesia.

After Hours Emergencies

If your pet requires emergency treatment outside of our regular clinic hours, you can call 867-633-5700 to speak to a veterinary technician who will triage your pet. After hours call in Whitehorse is currently shared between Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre and All Paws Veterinary Clinic.

RVT Appointments

We are offering annual exam and vaccine appointments with a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). Our RVTs that will be performing these examinations have completed additional training to broaden their scope of practice to include wellness exams and vaccination. Due to the local vet shortage, we are aware that many of you are waiting months to be able to book in for your pets annual exam and vaccines. We are hoping that by offering this service we will be able to help alleviate these wait times.

Active clients that have dogs or cats that are healthy and four years of age are younger will be eligible to book these appointments. Some breed restrictions apply. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call or text us at 867-633-5700.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
